1990 Chev C1500 Starting problem
Alright so recently my wifes 1990 C1500s engine blew. I had another 350 laying around that I decided to throw in there. Built it up dropped it in and hooked everything up i decided to use the stock TBI set up that was already on the old 350. We started it up the other day, and cranked right up, got the cam broke in and timing set everything was good, twenty minutes later i tried to start it and nothing. The starter engages and the engine wants to start but nothing. I'm getting spark, fuel is pumping, but i still cant figure out what is the problem. If anybody could help me out it'd be awesome thanks.

TBI systems are highly sensitive to engine changes. Unless you replaced the original with the exact same cam, compression, head flow, exhaust manifolds, distributor....
Its not a plug and play, TBIs don't like change. Time to have a custom chip burned for it. |

curtis thanks for the input i kinda figured that it'd wouldnt be that easy, i think that i'm gonna just get rid of the whole TBI system and run a carb, i figure that it'd be easier that way, well at least cheaper anyway
