1990 subuurban 4x4 T-400 to 700r4 swap
 

Hello guys,
I have opportunity to buy 700r4 from 4x2 Chevy Blazer. (I am not in US so it is rare chance)
What I need to swap th400 in my 1990 4x4 suburban with 700r4?

I want to change it to get overdrive and better mpg.

Is there any sense in this swap?

The 700R4 from the 2X4 wont have the correct length Output Shaft or spacer to bolt up to the Transfer case. I'd pass.

Just to be sure, will any 700r4 from 4x4 bolt on or there are different types?
