1990 Trans Am hatch adjustment help needed

I'm working on 1990 TA and need to adjust the hatch forward about 1/8". Any tips? I cannot find any more adjustment. Thanks.

look for kinks or a reason why first. I'm assuming the mounting area is pushed back by years of shutting it, but then again without pics I'm guessing here.

Good point Henry 500hp at the wheels ,five speed and t-tops are not a good combination either.

Look under the interior panel where the metal deck bolts to the glass there 10mm nuts with big washers,loosen them and you can adjust it.

Thanks Michel. I'll check that tonight, I think I've done tried but I've also slept since I last looked at the car. Being old (46) I tend to forget things.

be careful when tightening them for mock up. if the striker is potted metal you don't want to tighten it up too much til it's final.
