1991 Escort shifting problems with linkage?
I have a 91 Escort sometime ago I replaced the tranny. All was good up until now! Its in park and wants to go forward, neutral wants to go forward, reverse it wants to go forward as well!! what the heck is going on here?? Please help me,

Sounds like a shifter /cable problem to me . JMO

without any further information the best i can say is if park holds but still wants to go forward, then the forward clutches are welded together and will have nothing but forward.
does it bind in reverse?
