Question 1991 GMC pickup

I have a fulll size 1500 two wheel drive ext cab with a 4.3 in it. I am thinking of going to a V8 and want to know the easiest change, electronics
5 speed manual ect. hook up and save as much as i can it is my tow truck and i am not rich it does't like my bike trailer,HELP

should be able to swap in a 350 with out to much greif if its a throtle body motor you should be able to swap ecm a coupl of sensors and prolly the throtle body (i dont think they are the same and even if the throtle body is the same the injectors should be different)if your going with a used salvage yard motor you can prolly get the ecm and and the throtle body should come with a complete motor thats about the cheapest way out
