They are obvious. That is why I commented. Are you perhaps asking what they control, or am I just missing the point here?

control buttons

the picture is not my steering wheel. mine is missing a couple of the buttons. i just used this picture that i found online as what its supposed to look like. so im asking if anyone has any idea where i can find these control buttons other than the junkyard. like any online site that someones used for Oldsmobile parts like this.

Walk into your local GM dealer and have the parts manager look up the part numbers for these buttons. Find out if he can get them for you, and if you don't like his price, search one of the online parts stores. If you can't find them online, go back to the dealer or find a junkyard that has your same make and model Olds. I'm guessing this is probably something you will only get from a dealer.

Is it possible that these same buttons were used on other GM cars like a Pontiac or a Buick? I may be wrong, but I still think you aren't going to find these anywhere but at a GM dealer or a salvage yard. (Please pardon my politically incorrect reference to a "junkyard" in my last post)

yes

not the dealer unfortunately , but yes last hope would be the Salvage yard. and yes, these were used for a few Oldsmobiles in that year. Tornado, delta r88 and maybe some more that im missing. Since the dealer is out of the question i was hoping that a reproduction part of it was made and sold online somewhere?

Your problem is that in order for there to be a aftermarket for the buttons you're looking for, there needs to be a large demand for them. How many people do you think are out there looking for these same buttons? Probably not very many, and thus the lack of any parts stores that handle them. Good Luck in the salvage yards.
