What di I need to do and what's the sheapest way out.I trust only my hands ans I know the rest of you do too.Can you help me my new comrades? Sincerly Jay

After being raped repeatedly ( in the wallet ) by the wifes '92 model Caravan my first question is: did you use dextron fluid? If so drain it and fill with ATF 3.
Have you flushed the tranny? We bought our 92 and shortly there after the thing shifted abruptly and you had to warm it up or the vehicle would not move. Draining the Dextron the previous owner used ( found MR Lube receipt ) and filling with ATF 3 solved the problem. |

tranny trouble
limp in is second gear and trans will not up shift, usally turning the key off then re-start engine will reset trans computer... if trans doesn't have hard fault code ie speed sensors, solenoid pack
you should take it to a tranny shop to let them scan it for codes. 36 fault after shift will be first 52 53 54 all most common codes 24 and 39 are or should I state usually solenoid pack codes. do you know any history of the car as to trans repair, cry update inside rubber seals as of 95 and up 604 and 606 trans. |

tranny trouble
just a side note wrong trans fluid will do things on shift feel and shudders shifting but wont keep car from moving after its been running that most likely a filter stopped up from converter clutch coming apart or metal from bad planets.
