I have a 1995 chevy S10 4.3L V6 non-Vortec TBI.
and it's been running ruff/kinda misfiring when you accelerate or drive it up hill and I don't now whats wrong?
I've replaced the
fuel filter,
injectors,
cap and rotor,
and the ignition coil.
can you have the module tested ? also do a fuel pressure test and see what numbers you get and let us know ?
cap and rotor are usually the culprits on the 4.3L
pop the hood at night while its running and try to see if any of the spark wires are leaking voltage youll see a spark if there is. if one or more are leaking then it will cause some bad running and loss of power like this and it oftens happens mainly under load i have found over the years of working on vehicles for ppl at the shop.
also what plugs you running ?
hopefully ac delco cr43ts
i have a 91 with the vin Z 4.3L same as yours it has 196k on it running strong driven every day extremely reliable
You`ll also want to check it for vacuum leaks. Is the service engine soon light on? if so have the codes checked.
