1996 Chevy Cheyenne engine problem...

I have a 1996 k1500, it had a 5.0, 305 vortec. engine has been changed out to a 5.7, 350 vortec (which is for the 98 model). will the 5.0 computer work with the 5.7 engine?

It will need reflashed or changed to the 5.7 computer due to increased cubic inches.
