1996 LT1 Fuel pressure regulator

My fuel pressure regulator started leaking. It's the stock original one on a stock engine that I intend to keep stock.

Should I just get an oem replacement?

If yes, should I get a Delphi or AcDelco. Looks like the Delphi is cheaper athough quality is more important to me.

Locally, I can get an Echlin or Delphi from Napa but they would have to get it from the warehouse. Their Echlin is more expensive then their Delphi.

The three you named are all pretty good quality. Delphi is a child of GM as is Delco. Napa stuff is allways good too.

I probably have a spare somewhere but I just looked for it when I saw your post and can't find it. Kerry at Randall Motors keeps a few LT1 parts in stock as does Three Rivers. Good luck, Bill.

Hello fellow San Angeloan! Thanks for the advice. I've already got the Dephi coming.
I posted this on the trifive forum too and no one really seems to have much advice about quality between different brands. So, I figured spend less and try the Delphi.

By the way, not sure if we may have met. I completed my '55 Bel Air hardtop (ivory over turquoise) last September and took it to the Rec Camp show and also the ASCO Rental show with it so far.

The car I'm asking about with the LT1 is my black 83 El Camino SS. You may have seen me around town with it. The only show I've put that one in was at Crime Stoppers show at All American Chevrolet back in 2009. I also had my yellow '69 Corvette convertible in that show. I just sold that car to Mike over at the Buick dealer in January.

What year is your SS Impala? I don't see to many of those around town.
