1997 Blazer 4.3L V6 L35 Fuel Injection

Hello
what Fuel Injection System has my 1997 Blazer 4.3L V6 L35.

Is it a Monopoit Injector ?

re: 1997 blazer 4.3 l

Hi ok to my understanding monopoint is a single injector in the throttle body or you will have 1 per cylinder in the manifold with spider wires running to them, 1 per cylinder is multiport, as far as 02 sensors most have 1 but you may have 2, 1 per side on the exhaust manifold or the pipe right after TROY

It should have 3 Oxygen sensors. My fathers 98 chevy pickup with the same engine does. One for each bank and another right before the cat converter.

You have what is known as CPFI. There are 6 injectors in a central "pod", with "spider" or capillary tubes running to poppet nozzels in the intake ports. As for O2's, you should have one in each pipe coming down from the manifols, and one AFTER the converter.

As the above post's you do have 3 0'2 sensors. The injection unit is called a CPI Fuel injection. I wonder why you are asking for this information. Are you having a starting or drive ability issue?

it should have 4 O2's, left, right, 1 before and 1 after the cat.

that is the "SFI" fuel injection, 96+. it has 6 injectors in a central block.

"CPI" has 1 throttle body type injector in a central block. that goes out to 6 poppets.

I like to convert my Blazer to Liquid Petrolium Gas Injection.

LPG in Europe or Autogas, or GPL.

regards.
