Would seem the injectors are not firing...verify fuel pressure first...thats too new for me to have a clue on the codes though.

^^Those trucks still run with that code^^. So I would say your initial problem is no fuel. If you have the tool do a fuel pressure test at the valve on the fuel rail. If you dont have tool and just want to see if you have fuel at the rail just depress the valve with a small screwdriver. Wrap a shop towel around the screwdriver. Otherwise if fuel is there with pressure it could spray somewhere you dont want it to.

Here is the code info:
P1345
SGC (Cam Position) Sensor Circuit Malfunction/ Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation

You cam and crank sensor correlation is out of whack. The PCM needs to know EXACTLY the position of the crankshaft in relation to the camshaft in order to detect misfires and other functions. Whenever you change in a new part that can effect this relation, you need to "introduce" the new part to the PCM.

You need to have either a GM dealership perform a CASE relearn. (crankshaft angle sensor error)

What parts did you replace??
I caught the cam sensor(its in the distributer), but what fuel part did you replace?

Anytime you replace a cam , crank sensor, engine blaock, or crankshaft or PCM you need to have this CASE relearn performed. This is also known as a Crank Relearn.
The Tech. will hook up the scan tool to the OBD2 port, he will insert some of your VIN digits into the scan tool, and then follow its directions. This takes about 2 minutes to do.
Try and find a smaller garage to do this as they usually dont charge as much. Some places will do it for free, do you have a friend at a garage??

Also make sure the fuel pump is working, do you hear it run as you turn teh key to crank the engine over? Fuel pressure should be at 58-66 key on engine off.
Could be a fuel pump, or fuel pump relay that is located in the fuse panel under the hood.

Post back. I also have a 1997 Vortec 350 truck.

peace

If pressure drops to about 45 psi injectors wont squirt fuel. Would check fuel pressure. The P1345 code means that distributor is not aligned properly in relation to crank signal, need to put #1 piston back at tdc compression and check rotor alignment. Careful! Dont break plastic housing when installing cap holddown screws.

100psi!!! Thats too high.

Is the return line blocked off?
Or are you somehow dead heading the supply line?

If return is open and fuel is being supplied to fuel manifold & regulator then I would say you have problem with gage or regulator not working.

Theres probably an internal relief valve inside fuel pump to keep it from building super amount of pressure that could cause line to blow or something. So that has to be why you are getting 100psi.

100psi is way too much. It sounds like the pump is deadheading somewhere.

The fuel pressure rgulator is located inside the intake manifold.

Is the return line clear?

With how much pressure on supply side? If its 100psi no thats not normal.

If theres a problem with regulator might be good time to install entire new assembly fuel manifold, regulator, injectors everything. Theres an update part number 93441235 that you can buy. Rather than mess around with individual components. High mileage engine, its about ready to start nickel & diming you with something else failing.
