1998 chevy half ton with 4l60e..

i have a 1998 chevy half ton 4by i backed out of the drive and gave it all she had cause of the car i didn't see coming and then it didn't move so i pulled it down into 1 and it took off and shifted as long i manually shifted it i didn't have the time or money to fix it at the time so i drove it now it wont do anything but back up did i burn my tranny up doing this or can it be fixed

it can be fixed

I would think the transmission is burned up, needs a full rebuild.

is the fluid burnt smelling?

mileage on this transmission?

98 chevy

the fluid smells and looks fine and it has about 180000
