4l60e Problems

Whats going on guys, I am new here but I got a major problem with my 98 Chevy Tahoe with the 4l60e trans. Its now in limp-home mode and can't find the reason or the quick fix. Can anyone help? This is also a rebuilt unit that I installed in Jan 2011. It has just under 5k miles on it. I have checked the wiring and the PCM, as per the trans shop told me to do but as of now I can't get heads or tails of. Thanks for any and all information..

welcome to Hotrodders.com

I split off your post from the old thread here.

it is best to not post a new question to old threads

Is the check engine lite on?

Has this trans been scanned for live data in an effort to diagnose the problem?

Limp mode would put the trans into 3rd gear... is that what is happening?
