Hi
Welcome

Okay, you have a 99 Chevy 454! What, an an engine put into an older vehicle?
or a 99 truck w/454? What have you don to it prior to you problem?
Since you suspect a bad ground, have you checked your grounds?
I know you said your coil is new, but to be on the safe side,
take one from a running vehicle & try it in yours.
Good luck
Rich
