1999 Buick repaint

What would you say was a ballpark estimate of repainting a 1999 Buick Park Avenue - it's some funky beige color. Going to stop at a few paint shops here but I'd like to have some idea before going. Doesn't need any body work. Trying to decide if I should keep the car or not (was my Dad's car). Has 92K mileage but all the bells and whistles work and it runs good just needs front seats and front carpet.

A good high quality paint job! ballpark 3500-5000 just remember you get what you pay for. Keep in mind the jambs will usually be extra if you color change.

Paint Dude, sure did help. Valkyrie5.7 also mentioned the importance of the jambs. Based on what both of you and LATECH had to say, I won't change colors if I decide to have it painted. I'm going to try a good cleaning and polishing first and take it from there. It's not peeling or anything - actually pretty decent. Just looks like it needs paint, know what I mean, and some rust damage around wheel wells and rockers.

Might come back with some pictures, and ask your advise on repairing those.

Just don't want it to look like it came from Buffalo, which it did for half its life.
I replaced half the brake and fuel lines and gas tank straps/brackets due to rust when I first got it.

Only paint it if you plan to keep it. The Buick is only worth Abt. $3000. And then you need to do it yourself, or if you do all the prep; have someone spray it cheap or free.

Just my 2 cents & speaking from experience.
