Sounds like a wiring problem to me, possibly loose/broken wire.
Is it getting power to the Coil?

Install a fuel pressure gauge where you can see it while you drive. What's the pressure doing when the engine shuts off? If it starts with ether, it's a fuel delivery problem. Start troubleshooting there. I remain mystified why people immediately change the PCM for any problem. It rarely goes bad, but at least it's expensive. Do some no-cost troubleshooting first, THEN spend money.

There were some fullsize GM trucks that had an issue with the wiring to the pump inside the tank. They would shut off while driving and then restart. There was a redesigned harness for those trucks.
Just an idea to explore.

Does it have a rollover protection switch? My girlfriend had a car with one in it years ago and the switch would trip for no reason, cut power to the in-tank pump. Drove me nuts for a weekend.
