1999 Chevy Radio and Speedometer
This isn't really about a hotrod, but you all have helped alot in the past so Id like to see if i could get any help with this. I have put a new radio in my 1999 chevy silverado,5.3L, and my spedometer has quit working. I know the stock stereo would get louder as you went faster, so this may have something to do with that.

Starting in 1999 in the NBS trucks, Chevy started tying the radio's into the ECU systems. You need to add a box that mimics that communication. I'm pretty sure Wal-Mart carries them

Thanks, but i switched a few wires around and the radio now seems to work, i took it for a spin and it drives fine. But thanks for the help
