I'm still having problems getting my 1999 Pontiac Bonneville. I checked the wires,got a new fuel pump, another computer but still it won't crank. So what we came up with is the fuel injector's not getting any fire to it and someone suggested that it maybe a shortage somewhere going to the computer. So if anyone have any suggestions please feel free to let me know. Also could someone post a diagram or picture of the wires coming from the car to the computer or let me know where I can go to find it.

So are you saying that the injectors arent getting any power or that they arent pulsing? Be a little more specific please

Exactly,the injectors are not getting any power to it. Even though all the fuses are good but still no power.

The injectors should have 12 v + on one terminal with the ignition on.
The other side is a ground from the Engine module that is "pulsed".
If you have no 12 v + then there is a blown fuse ( " inj" fuse in fuse box) or an open circuit, like a broken wire or corroded/burnt connection.
After you check the fuse to be sure it has power and is good, You need to get an EWD (electrical wiring diagram) and the legend that explains the locations of all the connectors and pin position of the power feed wire for the injectors.So you can accuratley inspect the wiring, without wasted time.
Or if you dont have access to anything like that you could hook the test light to the 12 v + side of the injector plug for one injector, and ground the other end. Then go around the wire harness from the engine and wiggle the harness while watching the light. If you get to a spot where the light flickers then you are close to the open in the circuit.Pull apart the connector or peel open the harness and look for the break in the wiring or corroded/burnt connector.

The computer needs to scanned for trouble codes with a OBDII tool.
The injectors are controlled (pulsed) by the PCM (computer).
Some troubles will prevent the engine from starting due to wrong or missing input signals, such as "crankshaft position".
So the non firing injectors may be a symptom of another problem.

If I remember correctly, my buddy had a boni that was alwys messing up, seemed like he had to change out the crank sensor or the cam sensor on several occasions..... till he got tired of it and sold it.

When you checked fuses, did you check the main power fuses that are under the hood?

Make sure that you have a healthy battery and even still, connect a battery charger up to it also.

Does this engine 'CRANK'?
