1st and reverse no drive or 2nd

Will drive in reverse and manual first but in drive or second it wants to go but don't. Any ideas? Thanks Rod

Maybe the overunning clutch [sprag] is slipping.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SUCH A FRIKIN *****!!!!!!!! It's a TH350C in a 1986 GMC Sierra C-1500, 2WD, 305 4BBL, 2.73 Differential, No AC, PS, PB, White in color. The lockup is unhooked and so is the TCS (transmission controlled spark). P.S. I'm new here thanks for the friendly welcome.

BTW, I believe I answered this in your earlier thread. If the lo roller will not hold, the rear planetary gears will not be held, and you have no reaction member. In order for power to be transmitted, a drive member and a reaction(held) member are required. When you put it in M1, the lo-rev band applies and holds the rear planet carrier still, and you drive.
