hello,

im currently changeing the engine in my 87 mustang lx from the stock 2.3l to a turboed 2.3l form a 85-86 mercury turbo that im buying from a junk yard. and im cant seem to find any performance parts for it. ie cold air intakes, throttle bodies, exhaust systems, or any other parts for that matter. ive tried looking under svo parts because i believe there was a turbo 2.3l that the put in the mustang in the 80's at some point may be wroung about it. any websites that will have parts for this engine or any manifactors would be a great help. also any other information one what i can do to get all the hores out of the engine as possible and still keep it street legal would also be appriciated. anouther thing i forgot last night was what cam should i put in it and should i change the crank?

84 or 85 SVO Mustang, that's the one with the turbo 4. you won't find many parts specificaly for a turbo application but the internal parts are all over the place.

The FI and tubing, unless you find a blown SVO still in one piece, will pretty much be custom stuff.
