Primary difference in separator plates , that I am aware of is the converter clutch valve in the v-body.
If the v-body has the converter clutch valve, the hole is in one location... No clutch valve assembly, the hole in the separator plate is located in different spot.
those holes are location mostly center of the plate.
there was an optional hole more towards the rear of the plate. Small in size for a pressure switch that was not used on all 200-4r trans
