Is there any difference in the bolt pattern for a 200 4r that came equipped in an Oldsmobile, VS one that came equipped in a chevy?

I'm helping a friend to an engine swap in his 1982 Olds Delta 88 with a blow 307, to a Chevy 350 from a truck with a 700 4r, but i would rather not use the 700 4r because it won't be a direct bolt in, and the parts list is already up there with just the engine swap.

The make of the engines in that era didn't always match the badge on the car. A lot of GM cars left teh factory with engines from another division.
you may want to take a look at teh original engine to determine what GM division it is from

The very early 200-4R transmissions were BOP only. After the first year or so they were all multi-fit. You do realize everything else does need to change, right? Frame mounts, starter, accessory brackets, exhaust, hoses, wiring, etc, etc? An Olds 350 or 403 is a bolt-in.
