200 metric/200r 2004r

Kind of goes with the post on 2004r ID but is there a difference or are they one in the same 200 metric, 200r, 2004r. I've got a guy that has a tranny he said it was a 2004r but the numbers on it don't match anything I can find so I was wondering if it isn't a 2004r at all the numbers are C81U 81011681 and on the 2004r ID page I found nothing even similar anyone out there have any thoughts? What it is out of or what it is. Thanks, Eric

re: 200 metric/200r 2004r

If the pan looks like a square with a corner sawed off, it's a T-200, which is a 3-speed trans. If it's long and irregular, shaped kinda like the state of Illinois, it's a 200-4R, which is a 4-speed.
