2000 Silverado 5.3 Check Engine Light
I am baffled on this one. I have a 2000 Silverado with 80K miles and the 5.3L. If I run a bottle of dry gas per gas tank or every other, my check engine light won't come on. If I don't run dry gas, then I get a check engine light that scans as an evaporator system issue. All I can think of is that gas is getting into the canistor, and with the dry gas, the alcohol helps the gas to evaporate out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
