is a 2004r a good tranny and would it connect with a 327 engine and work well?

thanks for the help i know that some of my questions are silly but im new to this hotroding

I have a 200R4 behind a 350 with 330+ HP and it works very well.

No such thing as a dumb question. We were all new once, and we are all still learning. The 200-4R can be built to take lots of power. That's what they used in the Buick GN's & T-types with the turbocharged V6. Just make sure it has the Chevy bolt pattern on the front. I think most of them had Chevy AND B-O-P patterns.

Thnk you very much for the help it seems like i found my tranny, the price as right. now there are just a few problems i have to fix with the motor and im ready to go. thanks again when i need help you will hear from me.

2004R is a good tranny, but it ain't near as strong as a 700. And 700's are still fairly reasonably priced
