Post 2005 Mustang, Yay or Nay?

My dad wants to get one of the new mustangs for his fiftieth. I think their perty cool. At 400HP they have plenty of room for customizations, and plenty of HP to keep stock if he wants to.

I'm not a Blue Oval fan but those new Mustangs are sweet. I might just have to build another garage and sneak one into it.

I'll need to see it up close but it looks good from what I've seen here! Just I don't have room for what I already own?

I didnt like it when I first layed my eyes on it,I saw the convertable first. But as I look at the coupe it's starting to grow on me.I'll have to wait to see what the production car will look like to make my final "Yay" or "Nah" verdict. They said the looks will slightly differ from what it looks like now.

Thumbs up

I have never had a Ford and don't plan to ever have one, but I have to give the '05 Stang a thumbs up.

Thumbs down

My fav car (as everyone knows) is the Mustang! BUT...I do not like this one! I was ok with the '80's version, then I wasn't TOTALLY fond of the '90's model, but it was ok. I just do not like this one. I think it looks too much like one of those expensive prissy cars. Something you could see a Plastic Surgen or a Lawyer driving. One of those business-men that are all stuck up talking on their cell phone's and dodging in and out of trafic. I will stick with a '69 GT!

Ya I like the car but I can see some problems coming up. Everyone and their brother has a mustang, that's not necesarrily bad. However, if everyone gets this car for me at least it will ruin the original fastback. Just my take on it. (O ya and the new GTO, how could they do that to the legendary name?!?!)

well 81Camaro what do you want them to do, make them not as appealing or more expensive, thats about all I can think of. But they could just make them better cars and sell em for more. This is my dad, he had a mustnag. I dont really like em cause they aren't very performance oriented interms of being a fast car that people think of when they hear "new fast car". It seems like mustang has crept behind the stage in its ferociousness, the looks of this one are just a step out onto the market again.

Sounds so familliar I don't like this or that, but the answer after you ask have you ever tried it is almost always NO. I did however look at the profile and lo and behold one of the favorite cars is FORD. My .02

Al Ford and Chebby
