2006 GTO, totaled?

We don't see things like this at work very often. This Goat was being driven by a 23 year old with his 18 year old buddy in the passenger seat. They are VERY lucky to be alive, must have had a gardian angel with them. The driver barely got hurt and the passenger is doing well with a number of broken bones.

Trees don't give when it comes to a fight.

Brian

...idiots!

my girlfriend's best friend has a friend whose boyfriend died in a car crash... it was a 73 Nova and involved 'speed and alcohol'. The victim's cousin was the driver and he survived. This will make for some awkward family get togethers.

2 days ago I had to pick up my kid & his friend from school. They are 15 and both drive quads like idiots. We got a mile from there on a winding road and there's a modern midsize car that got into the loose stuff and hit a pole with the RF fender hard. The pole was snapped but nobody got hurt. It really sank in to the kids heads a little more, because this girl driver & boyfriend just left the school right ahead of us.

Wish me luck in a year

I'm sure all of us have been at that stage of growing up. I look back at some of the stupid stuff I did when I was young, had Superman strength and was smarter than ANY parent. Luckily, I never had a mishap and grew out of it. I'm sure these kids will at least think twice the next time. A sad, but good lesson to be sure.

F & J I DO wish you & all luck but unfortunately it also takes skill & defensive driving to "get back alive ".

I personally know that "Accidents " are far & few in between .

Most are wrecks plain & simple .

Somebody + Something they are not doing = Wreck

A accident is when a tree falls out of the sky & lands in your passenger seat as you drive by.
{some where I have that picture.}

The schools & the D O T need to get 1 trailer for each school & rotate the death wrecks from unit to unit each week .
I don't think it would "Desensitize "them .I know when I see one I still crap my pants.

I'm getting to the point I would rather get all red lights than take the chance of rolling thru a green & getting T boned by some soccer mom & her Excursion coming back from picking up Lil Junior.

Well that & all the Drunken Retirees that can barley operate a golf cart.

I came upon a wreck once, Mazda 626 Turbo. Perfect centered head on with an oak tree, speedo stuck on 140 mph, both guys still belted in, but both of their heads travelled a hundred feet.
