It may not have anything to do with the stereo, with what you have mentioned. You may need to have a Crank Angle Sensor Error relearn done. IIRC, this will require a Tech II scan tool.....

So, it turned out that the previous owner put in cheep spark plugs and that was the reason for the miss..... I dont know why you would change the plugs on a truck that only had (under) 60,000kms on it... but nothing 300$ cant fix...

Wow, who would have thought , but then I would not have put NGK in a chevy anyhow. Kinda goes against the grain you know.

This will really bake your noodle.....
NGK makes some of AC Delco's plugs.....

I near crapped when I pulled out a set of factory plugs from a 5.3 in a p/u, and they had an AC Delco number on one side of the porcelain, and an NGK number on the other side!

EEK!!! I guess I should expect it. After all AC delco was first supplied with spark plugs made by Albert Champion. Then GM bought the rights to the name, incorporating it into AC Delco. Kinda scary huh?
I put a set of NGK plugs in a 2000 forerunner today as the Denso plugs that were listed, were not a twin electrode style. The engine had a tag on it specifying Only twin electrode plugs. Dont need a pesky P0300 popping up after a tune up.
