2008 jeep liberty 1-2 shift glitch ?

Have a 2008 jeep liberty 3.7 auto 4-wheel drive. 180,000 miles. Tranny has been serviced at 80k and at 160k. Now when you drive it, when it shifts from 1st to 2nd, it acts like it shifts into second before being released from first. It does it about one of every 30-40 times it shifts. First tranny shop found no codes. Took to another shop for a second opinion. Same thing, no codes. They both thought that a possible valve in valve body is hanging up for a second, but never seen one act up without codes. Anyone know what I could possible have for a problem.? No leaks, has no dip stick. One of those models. Should I try another tranny fluid change ?
