200r

I was woundering if anyone knows someone near St.Loius that knows these trannys and knows how to build one. Mine is hurt and it needs help its in a 89 turbo trans am . So i need someone good. Thanks alot!

Find a shop that has had the same builder for 20 years or so. Most likely that builder has built lots of them and knows all of the quirks. And since he has been in the same shop for 20 years you know he is a good builder and you know that the shop is reputable.

Depends on what you plan to do. The Turbo Buick community has really found and fixed all the weak spots of these transmissions. I used a supposedly reputable rebuilder for my first 200-4R and the pavement-ripping 140 HP of my 307 Olds wasted that trans in 18 months. I've just ordered a rebuilt kit plus some upgraded billet parts from these guys and plan to build my own this time. I spend some time talking to Chris who runs the place. He's a very knowledgeable guy.

Any of these guys are good and do use CKs & PTS parts also.
