Off the top, does anyone know the oil capacity of the 200R4?

If you mean a Turbo Hydromatic 2004R, I believe it's roughly 23 pints.

TCI Chart You'll also need to factor in the cooler and its lines, if you have one.

a deep trans pan will affect quantity needed.... smaller stall speed converter?

1 quart in the converter... install 4 qts in the trans, start the engine... add 4 more... check fluid height, check trans for engagement into gear.

Add fluid to proper level on the dip stick = hot or cold

Bone dry stock tranny and converter mine took 16 quarts.
