200R4 line fitting sizes...

Hi All,

I'm about to buy a B&M supercooler and need to get from a -6 line to whatever size the fittings are on the 200R4 case. What fitting do I need? Is it the same as all GM trannies?

Thanks!

Russ

Pretty sure the trans case fittings are 1/4"NPT to 5/16" inverted flare. So 1/4"NPT to -6AN should work.

Thanks! For some reason, I had it in my mind they were machine-thread with sealing washers.

Russ,
To be sure try a search on the TurboBuick.com forum, or I will if I can find it. The one 2004R I swapped fittings on was 1/4"NPT but someone could have been there before me. I know just about everything else on the 200's is metric.
Todd

P.S. I found it here.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Also the the 2004R's line fittings are the reverse of other GM trans. The top is out to cooler & bottom is return from cooler.
