200r4 shift linkage

If I install a 200r4 trans with a B&M cable shifter, what linkage should I use on the trans ? I would be replacing a TH350 thats using the same linkage.

Thanks to you ,maybe I'll get this finished soon.

The shifter will come wirh the bracket. Make sure you select a 4 speed shifter. The 4 speed shifters can be converted into three speeds if desired. The shifter comes with a slew of brackets for different applications. On gm the same bracket is used but a different hole is used for 4 speeds. If you buy a used shifter make sure you get all the parts. I use a quicksilver and love it. I swap transmissions every now and then and it is very easy to change from 4 speed mode to 3 speed mode. Also it meets lockout requirements without the trigger; makes a very neat and tidy interior. Plus with adapters most shift knobs will fit.

Thanks, ethn_bert.

I have a used B&M from a swap meet that I got several years ago. Of course it didn't have the right parts for this transmission.

I ordered the parts this morning so maybe by next week We'll be back on the road.

I'm glad you are a member here and were reading the "transmission section" because your's was the only answer I got.

Thanks again.
