242k mile L05
So im thinking about doing a cam and head swap on my 93 chevy pickup, the motor runs very well with how many miles it has, still getting 15-17mpg, anyway, I have a set of swirl port heads (stock style) with a Lil bit of port work and some "z28" style valve springs, and a Speed Pro 1014r "RV" cam, should I do the swap and keep driving the truck? Or leave it alone and drive it till I find a LS 5.3?
Thanks -Phil |
Phil, it is common knowledge on here that those swirl port heads are garbage. Save up for your LS3

True, I got the extra heads with the truck, I'm going to swap the 5.3 into my truck... The LS3 would work great in my impala
