265DEH in 454?

Anyone try a 265DEH in a 454?

265/272 advertised
211/221 at 0.050"
0.476"/0.507"
110 LSA

How is the idle?
vacuum?
low rpm torque?

I'm running a 3.08 gear, 28 inch tire, stock converter, th400, 8.75:1 cr, 781 heads, 454 vortec exhaust manifolds (look much better than logs), and 4400 pounds.

I'm throwing together a 454. I have two cams in the garage. One is a 252H and the other is the 265DEH and I'm having a tough time deciding. The 252H is very mild for a 454 but I do like a smooth idle. My concern is the 265DEH will be a little too much and I think I would rather under-cam than over-cam. Please give opinion or personal experience.

Thanks.

I just found another choice in my garage. A summit racing cam (sum-1300).

266/276
208/218
0.475"/0.500"
112 lsa.

I think this cam falls between the two cams listed above. I'm thinking I should just use this one.
