272,292 or 312?
Hey, I've got an old Ford F100 pick up with a Y block that I know is not the original engine. Problem is I don't know exactly what I have. Does anyone know where I can find any numbers on the block to let me know what size the motor is?

Bogie,
Thanks for the info. Been away for a bit and haven't gotten back to thank you. I'm a rookie at the whole rebuild/restore/hotrod thing and I'm trying to learn as much as possible in a short time. I did find that I have a 272. I've been to the site you gave but just didn't search far enough. Thanks again! |
