273 to 360 motor swap

I'm putting a 360 into a 65 valiant. my question is what type of oil pan to use and wht kind of headers are avalible for my applications.

Check out Schumacher Creative Services. They are Mopar engine swap specialists and should have all the parts and info you need to stick a 340/360 in your Mopar "A" body.

i have to agree with centerline. i think their kit only covers 67+ on up.

the word on the street says...

the lowprofile center sump should be fine. know, the 360 pan is not the same as 273/318/340

74-80' B/A/E body 360 oil pan, the one with no stamping.

there is also a good 93-96? dakota 360 oil pan with a mid-rear sump that ive heard works for the early models.

that ones tricky in regards to fitting the rear cap on the block, the radius on the pan is different

Actually they do have a kit for the 340/360 swap for 63 and up. According to their web site this particular kit is for: "63-66 A-Body S6 to 273/318 or 340/360 Conversion, 273/318 to 340/360 upgrade, or 273/318 Replacement."
