28-29 ford vin info
I was told in a previous thread that the model a frames were stamped with a vin# ive looked carefully and cant find anything. Im not even shure if my car is a 28 or a 29. Is there any way to determine this?

VIN #s for 28=29 Ford
On top of the left frame rail,UNDER the cowl.No kidding,it recquires unbolting the body, raising the body / cab up enough to see the number. Dont know the laws inWA, but MOST STATES will accept a statement from a law enforcement officer, and next door in Idaho, a licensed car dealer can sign off on VIN verification. If you know any cops, you might be home free. Oh yeah, in 32, Ford moved the #'s forward on the frame so dissasembly is not recquired.Hope this helps.
