new doors

I think there is a company down under making a new steel pickup cab and extended cap. 27 T doors also might fit.

HR down under site

I think there is a HR aust or NZ site Might find someone there . good doors are hard to find up here too, I had a 27 T truck that the Farmer had cut off the tops of the doors and cab so he could drive it under the fruit trees. I fount doors with rusted bottoms but had a house fire and sold most of the project cars. I wish I had it back, along with other stuff we sold. quite a few guys from down under also check out the HAMB site.

If you have friends in NZ, there's a fairly big swap meet - Palmerston Swap Meet - they could look for you there

28-29 PU doors are different than the coupes or sedans and are the same as 26-27 coupe and 2 door ssedan doors.

year changes

I don't know if they carried over body styles to later years in N Z and Aus back then, I know that certain US cas were built later yeas in Mexico and south amerca in later decades. The tooling was shipped south. Late 7o's mustang II fastbacks were made in mexico after us productiond stopped, The 50's willys wagons were made in South america clear into the 70's in a partnership with Ford. A 70's ford falcon was made south. Compact chevies bodies also went south. ford 9 " rear ends and top loader transmissions moved south.
