283 chevy carburetor
Hi, first time in forum.
I have a 1957 chevy with a 283 engine but sadly no carburetor. A mechanic said it is set up for a Rochester 2bbl carb. Any suggestion on what carb can be used and where to get one. Thanks everyone. Bill |

CARB
If it is set up for the rochester 2 barrel, I think you can order one from a Summit catalog. But your best bet would be to get a new aluminum intake and a small 4 barrel carb, such as the edelbrock 500 cfm performer or a holley 570. Would help alot with the power!
