292 12 port sbc heads

What do you think about the whole "cutting and welding of two 350 heads to make a single 292 head?" I have two spare 350 heads that have 1.95 and 1.55 valves in them already? I also have two stock heads for a 4.3L v6 that are identical to the v8 heads, just minus two cylinders... I'm confident in my welding, but...
Opinions?

oval track cars

I used to live next to a guy that built oval dirt track cars. He cut small block chevies up and re welded them to make a V 4. that kind if stuff is popular wirt the round and round track racers. He had an iron duke pontiac 4 cyl block with a boss 302 ford head. back in the day 4 cylinder chevy heads on a Model T block. I.ve seen a studebaker V8 head on a model t block.
