[th350mark]

hello all,i know not many like a 6 banger.anyhow i customed fitted a 78 292 [gmc truck] inline 6 into a 76 nova its was somewhat tricky.i ended up modifyiny the pass.side motor mount even at that i had only about a 1/4 inch space between oil pan & draglink &engine crossmember.n then the 1BBL carb was really really close to the hood,ended up using a goofey looking 50,s something air cleaner that had aluminum mesh filter element.i put a 1964 194 cube head on w/new cam n lifters ,ran it really hard for 3 years n got 17+ mpg [ya it sounded john deere going down the street] Oh well i just wanted to be differnt n have dependability..

Ya dont need to sell me on the mighty 6 banger's. I think there way cool and give ya tons of credit in todays V8 world for beefin one up. They sound like pissed off hornets dont they?
