I am looking to buy a pair of mmll 2in dropped spindles for my panel to level out the a arms. I seen a ad in street rodder for a forged pair for 169.00 from a place called rodparts warehouse. Has anyone here bought these or ordered anything from this place? Thanks
Dropped spindles will not level out the A arms. Dropped spindles will raise the centerline of the rotor thus "dropping" the car.
If the car is fully assembled and the control arms are higher at the outer point than at the attaching point you will need either stiffer springs or springs with a greater installed height.
Forgot to add that my coils were cut down quite a lot and thats why I want to buy some dropped spindles, so I can put longer springs and still keep it low and try to level a arms out. Thanks
Sorry 48 Thames. The need of the new springs to level out the control arms makes sense. I am not familiar with the rod parts warehouse spindles. Will be interested to see if any one else has had experience with these spindles as I need to obtain some for my '35 coupe.
Good luck with your project.
