2k max meyer primer??should i wet/dry sand?

hi all

i just sprayed my fully sanded and preped car with 2k max meyer + hardener onto the car,its very sandy and heavy in some spots on the bonnet and wings?i adjusted the gun and sprayed the rest of the car well, but i was wondering what is the best thing to do with the heavy sandy spots on the bonnet?should i use 400 or 600 grit?i have 800 and 1200 grit here at the mo,was should i wet or dry sand?

AS I PLAN ON DOING THE BASE COAT NEXT!

400 and 600 is what you should use wet. Do not use anything higher than 600 as that would probably get the primer too smooth and could lead to paint adhesion problems.

i used a 400 block to start with,then 800 down to 600!looks smooth enough!

is smooth good or bad?
like should der be no polished areas on the car atal for the base to stick to it properly?
or should i just keep my distance passing over the very smooth areas?

going putting the base coat on 2m
