Ok, I went to my local jobber and he did not have my usual mp170 PPG 2k Primer but had some other brand 2k primer. So I got it home mixed up and sprayed a few patterns for test and looked ok. When I shot my roof ditch which I'm prepping for my self leveling seam sealer, the primer came out really wet... So I finished up the roof ditch and let it flash a little longer than recommended. Sorry, I was spraying the 2k primer on bare metal which had been prepped with 25 grit disc. So I shot my next coat and it was a little better and then wondered if that first coat would cause adhesion problems? I let the first coat flash about double the time as recommended (10 minutes). The ratio on the 2k was a 1 to 1. I'm going to let it set over night and then see about putting in my self leveling seam sealer in my roof ditch. Do you think the first coat will be ok?

If you shot it onto 25 grit sanded metal I'd say it has plenty of grip. You might have considered epoxy primer first on bare metal though.

Was epoxy primer. Just taking a while to with the high humidity we have.
