2nd opinion cowl induction scoop

Hi guys Iam adding a cowl induction scoop on 67 biscayne I know what your thinking were does he get his drugs Anyways i asked zz fourd to ad a 4 inch cowl induction scoop he did a fine job and i thank him Ithink it may be a little high you think 3 inch may be better ihave pic posted under next stage in album opinions welcome oh ya it will be functional

Myself, I think 4" is too high. subtle is not so bad.

if it is wide you can usually get away with more height

This dude I used to know had a 89 Mustang GT, and it looked real nice until he added a 5 inch cowl and it looked like it was a chubby cheeked baby.The thing was toooooo tall. Steve

Nice! I think it looks great! I had a corvette L88 scoop on my 67 Impala with a 3" rise. It looked very cool and was the limit that would pass inspection here in VA. zzfourd did a great job, My hats off to ya.

4 or 5" is fine... as long as you NEED the clearance.. If your motors tall enough to need the clearance then it = ******
if not its just domestic rice

I'd bust a snorkel on the hood rather than a huge cowl. Just stuff a plug in it when it rains and snows. Steve
