3-4 Clutch Pack Question ?
 

The ASTG Update manual recommends using a high energy friction service package for the 3 4 clutch pack, GM part number : 8690923. I think it is Borg Warner ( see image).

My question is can i use it on my 4L60e 2000 model, when it recommends use in the 1987 - 1998 models? Will there be any problems with clearances and fitting?

Those are the clutches and steels my supplier includes in their rebuild kits for after 2000 as well.

That sound like a thumbs up.

So no issues at all with these, do they help solve the 3 -4 clutch pack issue with regards to clutches and steels? ( not mentioning the other issues here about valves, etc, just the clutches and steels issue)
