Question 300 6cyl build

I posted this "q" before but got knee deep in chassis......
I have a FORD 300 6cyl w/air w/26k........
can i just strip all the poulition junk off,,,
use a new/old exhaust and intake manifolds? after market carb-ie 2 brl ? What kind of problems am I
going to run into? alt + pwr str. is not an issue.
Compression readings and vac draw is on top of fact. chart. just sweet but full of junk!
can i get a answer?

yes you can strip everything of it, ive seen it done once. a friend of mine had a 300-6 in his 4x4 pickup. ported heads, offenhauser 4bbl intake, hooker headders, chevy sb roller rochers and a healthy cam gave him over 400 ponies, the sound though left something to be desired

i believe PAW, has the intake and headders. 818-678-3000

What are you trying to do...Get rid of the EEC in a later chassis?

My project is a 1980 Ford club wagon van.
At 27k miles it was parked in a leaky barn/shed
where it sit and rusted the roof and side panels.
we want to strip body off and replace with an
aftermarket fiberglass Sedan delivery.
The 6 cyl.meets my power needs...I just want a simple,clean,easy maint. motor
