300 ford inline 6 going into Triumph TR4

I've owned the TR for 20 years, and it's time for an American Iron fix!! The plan is to keep the engine behind the front wheels, move it back into the fire-wall, allow the rocker-cover to protrude just a bit (about 1") through the hood; 5 spd stick; probably a sectioned 55-56 chevy dash and a few other mild things.
-Love straight-six'es. -Just sold a 66 Jag. 4.2 inline. Have owned a variety of Chevy's for fun over the years (3 57's, one with 327/4speed...your basic build-at-home stuff; Corvairs; 62 Impala 283, etc). daily driver is 2001 A6 Audi 4.2 V8 quattro; wife's is 98 A6 Audi quattro wagon 2.8 v6. Son= 96 Audi A4 quattro; Daughter= 99 Audi A4 quattro. Do all my own bodywork,paint and mechanical work. NO MORE RESTORATIONS! From now on it is all arteeest.
